Crowdict · Scoring explained
How Crowdict scoring works
One set of questions, two ways to win. See how Crowd and Rare turn your answer into points.

01 / TWO MODES
Common or uncommon?
In Crowd, the most common valid answers score highest. In Rare, the most unusual valid answers score highest. Each answer is placed in a band with a base score; the question’s multiplier then determines the points for that round.
Popularity is estimated in advance for each question. The figures are estimates, not a live count of what other players typed. Crowd and Rare keep separate Daily scores and leaderboards.
02 / THE BANDS
Points for your answer
The same five base scores are used in both modes, with different band names. A pass or timeout earns zero.
| Base points | Crowd | Rare |
|---|---|---|
| 100 | #1 Answer | Lone Wolf |
| 75 | Runner-up | Hidden Gem |
| 50 | Top 5 | Uncommon |
| 25 | Top 10 | Common |
| 10 | Off the Board | Too Popular |
For Crowd, the board ranks ten answers: #1, #2–3, #4–5 and #6–10 form the four highest bands. Other accepted answers are Off the Board. Rare assigns bands by how uncommon an accepted answer is; the top five popular answers are Too Popular.
03 / MULTIPLIERS
Later questions count more
For example, a 75-point answer on question 4 is worth 150 points with the ×2 multiplier. Unlimited repeats the multiplier pattern every ten questions.
04 / THE RESULT
What happens after the Daily?
Your total combines points earned across the ten questions. The game shows your result and a shareable summary. You can compare scores for the same Daily and scoring mode on the leaderboard.
Changing the stage changes the scenery, not the scoring. Explore the stages on the Daily game, play more in Unlimited, or bring friends into a live party where the host chooses the scoring mode.
